Garage Sale Day!

Today is the (hopefully) the only Garage Sale Day!!!

And the first day of "shedding items".  By July 6th, we should only have a few items left in our apartment.  Mia is looking forward to have more items gone, so she can sort through what's left and determine what she wants to take with her and how big a storage unit we'll need to have for the rest of our stuff.

Last night, we worked at Mia's job till 1am. Then we got a 2 hour nap before waking up for today.  I bet we take naps late this afternoon. I'm already ready for a nap, in fact, I think I'll let Mia finish up the last minute things for today while I curl up in my carrier out by our yard sale, to guard it & to supervise Mia's work.

Busy Week!

This past weekend Mia & I went everywhere!  I'm exhausted today, but don't really have time to be resting.  Even just sitting here I'm thinking about the 1,000 things that need to be done.

Last Friday I decided it was time to have a garage sale. So this Saturday I'm selling off alot of Mia's items to raise some extra funds for my adventure.

I haven't told Mia the whole plan yet, she knows we're having a garage sale, but I haven't told her it's for the trip, she thinks she's gonna get to go shopping.

So this week, we're packing up stuff for  storage, preparing the garage sale, and all on top of the crazy schedule Mia and I already keep!

Possibilities...

I am always and forever drawing on what dreams may come, what futures I want unfolding in this world.  The world as a whole and "my world" are both ever changing places, and though many things remain the same there are endless possibilities for the future.

Today I was pondering on the possibilities of the future that may open up, from doing this trip.  And though I don't know where the road may lead, I am willing to take the first steps out on to this path.

I hope as my journeys unfold, people are inspired to reach for things they never saw possible before for themselves.

I know I never would have dreamed just a few years ago as a puppy, that Mia and I would be adventuring out on this great quest. How many people, puppies, or what-have-you's can say they attempted to travel 48 states in one year?  I can't imagine many have.

Just a year ago I would have thought someone was crazy if they'd told me this was the next steps for me, and now I can find no greater inspiration:  The desire to Inspire others to dream, and to dream bigger than they've ever dared before.

I wonder.....  What's YOUR biggest dream, goal, desire?

Chi WOW WOW

The other day while I was at work, I go to work with Mia almost everyday, I met a lovely little boy and his father.  If I remember correctly the boys name was AJ. AJ was a sweet young man, I guessed he was about 5 years old. He asked many questions about me and my trip.  I told him I was a chihuahua and that I was 7 years old... you know the "normal" bio information. :) His father was very supportive of my trip, and said he would show my blog spot to AJ and they'd follow me along on the trip.  When AJ and his father's ride showed up, I could hear AJ telling the driver all about me.  He said I was a ChiWOWwow!  I loved it and said that's what I want to be from now on a Chi WOW wow.... how wonderful to be a double WOW!  :)

 I thought this was so wonderful I just had to share it with you all.  :)

I hope something makes you feel double WOW today too!

Inspiring People

Along the way, I'll be writing about the people I meet.  Some people will be everyday, some people will be changing the world, some people you may wonder why I choose them, and others you will read and (hopefully) feel a connection with.  I'm hoping as I travel, meet people and then write about them that I discover a truth about them all...

Everyone has the potential for greatness, just some choose not to fulfill on their greatness.

If this is true (and I believe it to be so) then that means people you know.... "Every day" people are filled with greatness and you probably find them inspiring.

I know I find Mia's momma inspiring.  She is an amazing woman; filled with love & strength.  She has made a focus on her life in helping teens. Her goal is to have young adults know their value, to have them see themselves as she sees them, as endless possibilities of good.  What a wonderful future to live into:  A place where the next generation knows they have value & potential for greatness.
