Now for some that might seem "bad" and it did change some of our plans. There was an over turned Semi and the cranes that were brought in to right the error were blocking the whole road. Several truck drivers from behind us in line came up and we all stood around chatting about places we'd been. We got several recommendations on things to see. It turned out to be a great hour of socializing. After the hour plus of sitting, it took almost another 30 minutes to let the other traffic go and for us to get through the congested site. Mia was excited when we saw clear road again and had to take a picture.
This blog is about a journey across 48 states in one year. About the people and places all across the United States. This blog is safe for all ages. Hi! My name is Taco, I'm a chihuahua; Mia is my human. We started this trip in August 2010.

- My human, Mia, has been working so hard. She is so inspired by my plan. My plan is to go all over the United States meeting new and wonderful people, to share their stories, and to find the connection between all people. Mia is so wonderful, and I want to meet more wonderful humans like her.
